KC-135 Flight MICAP Technician

Senior Airman Christy Jonkman distinguished herself by meritorious service while serving as a KC-135 Weapon System Management Flight MICAP technician, 635th Supply Chain Management Group, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, from XXXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXXX. During this period, the outstanding professional skill, leadership, and tireless efforts of Airman Jonkman resulted in twelve thousand MICAP parts, valued at more than 240 million dollars, expedited in support of Global War on Terrorism operations. Additionally, her diligent efforts and attention to detail restored an in-transit aircraft at Edwards Air Force Base to fully mission capable status in less than seven days after processing 88 MICAPs for the grounded aircraft. Non-Airborne MICAP Supervisor

Staff Sergeant Caesar D. Williams distinguished himself by meritorious service as Non-Airborne MICAP Supervisor while assigned to the 435th Supply Chain Operations Squadron, 635th Supply Chain Operations Group, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois from 1 January 2010 to 24 June 2013. During this period, in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, ODYSSEY DAWN, and Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa, Sergeant Williams flawlessly tracked 12,456 Non-airborne Mission Capable parts valued in excess of 345 million dollars. His expertise was paramount to the combat sustainment of 22 Standard Base Supply System accounts at nine geographical locations. Exploiting his experience with the Global Logistics Support Center, he served as a vital link for key logistics decision makers by furnishing timely and accurate MICAP board updates to sustain 11,456 sorties, which resulted in the elimination of 2,340 enemy targets. Additionally, while deployed in support of the Army, he redistributed over 27,000 mission critical communication assets worth over $220 million and directed the surplus property program, returning 752 serviceable equipment assets to state governments for a savings of 274,000 dollars. As a result, the President of the United States closed a chapter on one of America's most memorable and historic wars. Combat Oriented Supply Organization Supervisor

Staff Sergeant DeMonique S. Harrison distinguished herself by meritorious service as a Combat Oriented Supply Organization supervisor, 25th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 51st Maintenance Group, 51st Fighter Wing, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. During this period, Sergeant Harrison flawlessly managed 24 A-10C Tail Number and Facilitate Other Maintenance Bins earning a 100 percent Quality Assurance pass rate. She coordinated the inventory and build-up of two Mission Support Kits with 260 line items valued at three million dollars to support 10 A-10C aircraft during the Red Flag Alaska deployment. Additionally, she tracked 300 MICAP requisitions and provided leadership updates daily, helping leadership make timely command decisions. Furthermore, she used AFMAN 23-110 as a reference to ensure 500 Due-in From Maintenance assets were properly coded, tagged, and turned into Flight Service Center without any delays. Finally, Sergeant Harrison expeditiously processed 223 priority issue requests with zero discrepancies and contributed to the 51 Maintenance Group earning an overall Excellent rating during the 2012 CUI inspection. Ground MICAP Supervisor

Staff Sergeant Michael L. Jiggetts distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Ground MICAP Supervisor, 439th Supply Chain Operations Squadron, 735th Supply Chain Operations Group, 635th Supply Chain Operations Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. During this period, Sergeant Jiggetts heightened mission readiness by sourcing 31,000 mission essential Ground Mission Capable requirements while directing 50 million dollars in assets, directly supporting 410 global mission flying hours. His technical expertise repositioned 15,000 mission essential Aircraft Ground Equipment assets, reducing F-15 operating commitments by 500 million dollars in support of Operation New Dawn. Additionally, Sergeant Jiggetts' efforts fulfilled requirements for 1,200 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles worth 3.3 billion dollars, achieving a 91 percent mission capable rate and enabling overseas contingency operation force protections.
