Master Sergeant Hunter T. Horner distinguished himself by meritorious service as Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge of Air Tasking Order Production, 609th Combat Plans Division, 609th Air Operations Center, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. During this period, Sergeant Horner led an Air Tasking Order Production team of 28 Airmen and NCOs to validate, publish, and disseminate the Combined Forces Air Component Commander's daily Air Tasking Order. He single-handedly oversaw the operations schedule and training program for the Air Tasking Order Production team ensuring 100 percent mission success rate. In addition, he continuously coordinated with other Combat Plans cells to improve situational awareness and ensure a focus on joint and strategic goals. His swift actions ensured the daily Air Tasking Order was published and disseminated "on time" with zero discrepancies during the challenging transition to a new weapon system. Through his actions, the Air Tasking Order during his deployment planned over 80,000 missions and sorties flown in support of United States Central Command and Coalition airpower. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Horner reflect credit upon himself, the 609th Air Operations Center and the United States Air Force.




Senior Airman Destiny M Patterson distinguished herself by outstanding achievement as Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Specialist, 103d Air Control Squadron, 103d Airlift Wing, Bradley Air National Guard Base, Connecticutt. During this period, Airman Patterson deployed as a Combat Mission Ready Air Tasking Order production technician to Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina to participate in an exercise that directly supported the Combined Air Operations Center at Al Udeid Air Base. Her diligence and expertise in loading missions into the Theater Air Planner software was invaluable to the exercise participants and was indispensable to the overall success of the exercise. In addition, Airman Patterson demonstrated her ability to vigorously support the AOG mission by volunteering to deploy to Washington D.C. for the 2009 Presidential inauguration with the 103d Communications Squadron as a Joint Incident Site Communications Capability operator. She directly contributed to the success of this mission by managing and operating the Joint Incident Site Communications Capability equipment and providing daily Situational Reports to the 103d Communications Squadron commander. The distinctive accomplishments of Airman Patterson reflect credit upon herself, the 103d Air Control Squadron and the United States Air Force.




Staff Sergeant Alexander N. Castleberry distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Defensive Duty Technician, 101st Air and Space Operations Center, 101st Air Operations Group, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. During this period, in support of VIGILANT SHIELD 11, Sergeant Castleberry diligently prosecuted 548 combat sortie changes, re-roles, add-ons, and mission cancellations. These timely modifications were absolutely essential to the successful prosecution of an accurate and current exercise Air Tasking Order. Additionally, he created a database that accurately tracked the status of 22 Federal Aviation Administration and Joint Surveillance Sites, 21 Air Sovereignty Bases, and six Aerostats. His efforts streamlined the dissemination of mission essential exercise information and maximized the Combined Forces Air Combat Commander's situational awareness of all Continental United States based radars and all alert assets. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Castleberry reflect credit upon himself, the 101st Air and Space Operations Center, and the United States Air Force.




Technical Sergeant Omar K. Herrera distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge of Air Tasking Order (ATO) Production, 612th Air Operations Center, Twelfth Air Force, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. During this period, Sergeant Herrera led a team of 13 dedicated Airmen who were responsible for the Air Tasking Order in support of 210 aircraft, ensuring his Division's compliance with the Combined Forces Air Component Commander's (CFACC) asset allocation plan. Under his guidance, the ATO team published 2,170 ATOs, resulting in the seizure of 65 aircraft, 41 sea going vessels, and five billion dollars in narcotics and 416 arrests. Further, he coordinated 700 joint reconnaissance sorties, delivering over 20,000 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance images to ground combat forces in support of Operation CONTINUING PROMISE, improving situational awareness by 80 percent. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Herrera reflect credit upon himself, the 612th Air Operations Center and the United States Air Force.
