Technical Sergeant Jesus A. Munoz distinguished himself by meritorious service as a HH-60G Crew Chief/Flight line Expeditor, 801st Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, 1st Expeditionary Rescue Group, 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Undisclosed Location, from 24 September 2022 to 9 January 2022. His tireless and proactive efforts enabled 204 sorties to be flown with 272 flight hours while maintaining no gaps in alert coverage. Technical Sergeant Munoz's actions bolstered Air Force Rescue's ability to provide uninterrupted personnel recovery alert for Operation INHERENT RESOLVE, while under significant risk of manned and unmanned aircraft attacks as well as violent extremist actions. He was directly responsible for leading unfold of two rescue aircraft, facilitating full capabilities of the rescue squadron without any gaps in coverage. Additionally, Sergeant Munoz's professional skill, knowledge and exemplary level of preparation were instrumental as he was tasked with filling SNCO Production Superintendent void where he managed 22 personnel completing 208 maintenance tasks and generating 78 sorties.
