Technical Sergeant Gina R Howell distinguished herself by meritorious service while serving as Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge, Central Fill Pharmacy, 6th Medical Support Squadron, 6th Medical Group, 6th Air Refueling Wing, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. During this period, Sergeant Howell supported care for 240,000 beneficiaries across two Combatant Commands, 31 misson partners, and 47 coalition nations in the Department of Defense's largest single-unit catchment area. Additionally, she managed a complex robot system and tracked and quickly resolved 23 trouble tickets which restored functionality and ensured on time delivery of 96,000 prescriptions. Further, Sergeant Howell was hand selected to become an Integrated Resilience Instructor and led extremism training and steered communications which improved interpersonal skills and boosted the resiliency of 215 staff members across nine flights. Moreover, she led a process improvement project that added 39 pick-to-lite medication cabinets and 3,000 automated compartments, reducing patient wait times by 96 percent and earning the Wing Team of the Quarter. Finally, Sergeant Howell prioritized COVID support operations by managing 11 personnel from eight organizations for Wing POD operations, administering 17,000 vaccinations which received DHA's "Best-Practice" and earned Wing Team of the Year. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Howell reflect credit upon herself, the 6th Medical Support Squadron, and the United States Air Force.




Master Sergeant Tamika D. Gomerach distinguished herself by meritorious service while serving as Flight Chief, Client Support, Ogden Air Logistics Complex, 75th Air Base Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. During this period, Sergeant Gomerach aggressively advocated for the career development of the squadron's Airmen and was the driving force behind seven Enlisted Forced Distribution Panels. She rallied nine senior leaders and prepared 33 justification packages, fueling the Chief of Staff of the Air Force's squadron revitalization goal for the 410-member organization. Moreover, Sergeant Gomerach benchmarked the group's racial sensing initiative, leading 17 sessions with 140 military and civilian members, resulting in recognition by the Wing Command Chief and Four Star General and serving as an example for 65 other organizations. Further, Sergeant Gomerach authored the Hill Air Force Base Communications Focal Point operating instruction, providing simplified guidance and eliminating a four year oversight within the directorate. Finally, she was handpicked to serve as the squadron superintendent, leading 77 military and 120 civilian members and earning her nomination for the Lance P. Sijan award at the Group level. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Gomerach reflect credit upon herself, the 75th Air Base Wing and the United States Air Force.




Master Sergeant Herbert S. Washington distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Wing Integrated Resilience Manager, 552d Air Control Wing, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklhaoma. During this period, his efforts resulted in the success of several Installation and Wing programs. As the Installation Fitness Assessment Cell Manager, Sergeant Washington increased the base test currency to 94 percent, exceeding the Air Force standard of 90 percent. As the Community Support Coordinator, he ensured the successful training of over 20,000 members in resiliency, suicide, and sexual assault prevention. He also led three base resiliency campaigns and achieved a 98 percent prevention training compliance rate and recognition by Air Force Material Command as the top Airmen intervention program. Additionally, at the Air Control Wing Historian Office, Sergeant Washington accelerated the completion of two overdue annual wing history reports, conducted 11 process improvement projects, and recorded war-time readiness capabilities for 24 squadrons, garnering support for a 125 million dollar budget. Moreover, he was handpicked by the 552d Wing Commander to stand up the Wing Integrated Resilience office. Further, despite being in the midst of COVID-19, Sergeant Washington ensured all 4,000 Airmen assigned to the 552d and three Geographically Separated Units received the required ACC intervention training. Finally, as the national racial disparity crisis heightened, Sergeant Washington organized a base Town Hall on Race and implemented unconscious bias training in five continuum of education courses within the Wing, earning the 12th Air Force National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Roy Wilkins Award nomination. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Washington reflect credit upon himself, the 552d Air Control Wing and the United States Air Force.
