Senior Airman Sully K. Hendricks distinguished himself by meritorious service as a Readiness Journeyman, 105th Force Support Squadron, 105th Mission Support Group, 105th Airlift Wing, Stewart Air National Guard Base, New York. Airman Hendricks effectively managed the annual budget of $18,000 as the Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder responsible for procuring cold weather gear for a deployment team in November. Through careful planning and strategic decision making, he effectively minimized expenses to just $2,250, securing 15 complete sets of jackets and boots, saving the Air Force $15,750. Additionally, in collaboration with the IG team, he spearheaded an active shooter exercise that engaged three squadrons and involved 62 participants. His exceptional contributions significantly enhanced overall preparedness, earning him recognition as a "Top Performer" from the IG team. Finally, Airman Hendricks played a vital role in maintaining the unit's preparedness for deployments and TDYs by overseeing the training needs of 49 personnel. He monitored Individual Medical Readiness (IMR), Ready Airman Training (RAT), CBRN, and TCCC to ensure the production of Mission Ready Airmen (MRA) for expedited deployment.
