Technical Sergeant Lamar A. Dunn distinguished himself by meritorious service as Enlisted Accessions Recruiter, 332d Recruiting Squadron, 369th Recruiting Group, Bristol, Virginia, from XXXX XXX to XXXXX XXXX. During this period, the professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Dunn contributed to the effectiveness and success of the 332nd Recruiting Squadron. He provided critical technical support to the organization by timely management of 107 New Enlisted Contracts. Sergeant Dunn's contributions serve as a sterling example of the effective and successful use of recruiting skills and resulted in his being recognized with three consecutive Silver Badges. His actions produced a rate of 120 percent of his required goal and ensured the continued success of the Air Force mission. The distinctive accomplishments of Technical Sergeant Dunn reflect credit upon himself, the 332nd Recruiting Squadron, and the United States Air Force.




Master Sergeant Henry J. Anderson distinguished himself in the performance of outstanding service to the United States as Recruiting and Retention Manager, 176th Wing, Joint Base Elmendorf - Fort Richardson, Alaska. During this period, the professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Anderson resulted in major contributions to the effectiveness and success of the Air National Guard. In this important position, vital relationships were developed with Commanders as he provided critical guidance and support resulting in an outstanding retention rate of 92 percent. Despite the concurrent duty of managing the Strength Management Team, he was an integral component of a State Team that produced 210 accessions in a ten month period. In addition, while managing the Retention Office, Sergeant Anderson processed more than five hundred thousand dollars in incentive payments for 176th Wing Airmen, substantiating Retention as a Wing priority. Furthermore, he ensured more than 1,300 Airmen preserved the Air Guard family legacy and assisted eligible Airmen with transfering education benefits to their dependents. Lastly, as an In-Service Recruiter, he performed more than one hundred Informed Decision Briefings and saved the Air National Guard over four million dollars in training costs by placing 85 prior service Airmen into units across the nation. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Anderson reflect great credit upon himself, the Air National Guard and the United States Air Force.




Master Sergeant Herbert A. Lasso distinguished himself by meritorious service as Air Force Reserve Line Recruiter, Eastern Recruiting Squadron, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia, from August 2012 to September 2017. During this period, Master Sergeant Lasso enlisted a total of 150 Airmen into the 908th Air Wing, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. From October 2014 until September 2017, he enlisted an additional 165 Airmen into the 94th Air Wing, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia. Of his cumulative total of 315 accessions, sixty six were Prior Service which saved the Air Force Reserve a total of six million dollars in training costs. Furthermore, Sergeant Lasso trained five additional Line Recruiters within the Eastern Recruiting Squadron during his assignments which enabled the Eastern Recruiting Squadron and the Air Force Reserve Command to exceed congressionally mandated recruiting goals for 15 consecutive years. The distinctive accomplishments of Master Sergeant Lasso reflect great credit upon himself, the Eastern Recruiting Squadron and the United States Air Force.




Master Sergeant David F. Sidewell distinguished himself by meritorious service as Health Professions Recruiter, 348th Recruiting Squadron, Aiea, Hawaii from 11 September 2015 to 23 August 2018. During this period, Sergeant Sidewell's leadership and dedication were instrumental to the accession of 103 future Airmen into the United States Air Force, ensuring his squadron exceeded all Health Professions goals for Fiscal Years 2016 and 2017, and resulting in his selection as Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS) Top Health Professions Recruiter, 3rd Quarter, Fiscal Year 2016. In addition, Sergeant Sidewell's relentless focus on filling critical Air Force jobs led to his flight earning AFRS's Top Health Professions flight for Fiscal Year 2017. Finally, Sergeant Sidewell accessed 1300 percent of his assigned goal for the Nurse Corps Transition Program, earning another AFRS Top Nurse Corps Transition Program Recruiter of the year award for Fiscal Year 2017. The distinctive accomplishments of Master Sergeant Sidewell reflect credit upon himself, the Air Force Recruiting Service, and the United States Air Force.




Technical Sergeant Roscoe P. Coltrain distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Overseas Enlisted Accessions Recruiter, 314th Recruiting Squadron (RCS), 360th Recruiting Group (RCG), Ramstein Air Base, Germany, from 14 July 2013 to 20 August 2017. During this period, Sergeant Coltrain's ceaseless contributions led to the enlistment and accession of 103 Non Prior Service recruits into the Air Force and three Officers into Officer Training School. In addition, he was instrumental in forging a lasting and productive relationship with the Albanian Military as a member of the first Air Force Team to visit the country of Albania, sharing his recruiting strategies and skills. Moreover, he recruited members from two zones in three countries, exceeding requirements and poising the unit for future growth. Finally, his contributions led to his Flight being selected as Top Flight for two consecutive years and his selection as Top Flight Recruiter. The distinctive accomplishments of Technical Sergeant Coltrain reflect great credit upon himself, the 314th Recruiting Squadron, and the United States Air Force.




Staff Sergeant Earnest H. Young distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Enlisted Accessions Recruiter, 331st Recruiting Squadron, Montgomery, Alabama, from 13 October 2008 to 22 September 2012. During this period, Sergeant Young filled a most challenging, visible, and responsible position with dedication and enthusiasm. He accessed 120 percent of his enlisted accessions goal in Fiscal Year 2009 and 125 percent in 2010. During Fiscal Year 2010, he accessed 300 percent of his officer accessions application goal. These unprecedented accomplishments were recognized with the award of the coveted Air Force Recruiting Service Senior Recruiter Badge. In addition, his efforts were instrumental in the squadron's 130 consecutive months of exceeding Air Force mission requirements, the longest record in the nation. Finally, his relentless efforts significantly enhanced the squadron's mission capability and had direct impact in the unit earning the Air Force Recruiting Service Standard of Excellence award for Enlisted Programs for Fiscal Years 2009 and 2010, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award in 2011. The distinctive accomplishments of Staff Sergeant Young reflect credit upon himself, the 331st Recruiting Squadron and the United States Air Force.




Staff Sergeant Douglas C. Martin distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as In-Service Recruiter, Operating Location AR, Western Recruiting Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan, from 26 February 2002 to 14 March 2006. During this period, Sergeant Martin was a key member of one of the most productive recruiting teams in the Air Force Reserve Command. Under his leadership, the Selfridge Team posted record production in Fiscal Year 2004, finishing at 165 percent of production requirements. Committed to the success of the Wing, he aggressively lobbied commanders at all levels to scrub manning documents and create vacancies, improving manning by four percent. Additionally, he inspired a commitment to team excellence. Each of his team members finished the year above 130 percent of goal and each was selected as "Top Fifty" Award Winners. Further, his efforts led to a 40 percent improvement in production over the previous year and put his team on track to achieve the highest production out of 14 Wings in Fourteenth Air Force. Finally, being recognized as responsible for the success of the largest recruiting flight, he was hand picked to provide one on one coaching and mentorship for struggling recruiters throughout the Command. The distinctive accomplishments of Staff Sergeant Martin reflected great credit upon himself, the Western Recruiting Squadron and the United States Air Force.




Sergeant Ward's expert salesmanship has been vital to the overall success of the recruiting office. In Fiscal Year 2009, he was recognized as the Texas Air National Guard Rookie Recruiter of the Year and awarded Production Recruiter of the Year in Fiscal Year 2011. Additionally, he was entered into the Air National Guard's Century Club for surpassing 100 new recruits. Moreover, as the advertising NCO, Sergeant Ward's creative ideas have been imperative to spreading the word about the Texas Air National Guard across Houston and surrounding areas. His work ethic and professionalism was instrumental in the 147th Reconnaissance Wing being selected as the Texas Air National Guard Top Recruiting Office for Fiscal Year 2012.
