I give Makenna Copley my highest recommendation for acceptance into the United States Air Force Officer Training School. During my 26 years in the United States Navy, I have rarely encountered an individual who demonstrates such a strong commitment to service, professional growth, and mission accomplishment.

Within a command of more than 500 employees, Ms. Copley has distinguished herself as a capable professional with clear leadership potential. Ms. Copley consistently performs effectively in mission-critical environments requiring technical competence, collaboration across organizations, and practical problem-solving. Her contributions enabled Naval Supply Systems Command Business Systems Center to advance critical cloud and artificial intelligence deployments, including Amazon Web Services and Oracle environments supporting Coginiti AI integrations.

She approaches complex challenges with sound judgment, initiative, and a focus on producing durable mission outcomes. Ms. Copley's leadership is particularly evident in her ability to coordinate multiple mission partners, communicate technical issues clearly, and build consensus toward solutions that improve development pipelines.

She has also demonstrated accountability and professionalism through the development of standardized policies and procedures, as well as through her work to upgrade the Citrix NetScaler instance to improve security and performance. Her adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to assume responsibility make her a trusted member of this command.

Beyond her technical accomplishments, Ms. Copley possesses the character, maturity, and resilience expected of a future officer. She leads through action, accepts feedback, continuously seeks improvement, and remains focused on the success of the team and the mission.

I am confident she has the intellect, communication ability, professional bearing, and leadership potential necessary to succeed in Officer Training School and serve honorably as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force.
