Senior Airman Theodore H. Eason distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Cable and Antenna Systems Specialist, 531st Intelligence Squadron, 543d Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, 70th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. During this period, Airman Eason led seven Airmen to install twelve thousand feet of network cable, linking fifty-five additional analysts and administrator systems, tripling intelligence collections for thirteen National Security Agency Texas missions. Furthermore, Airman Eason routed 15,000 feet of fiber optic and category-6 cable in under four hours to consolidate the Air Force Defense Mission Site leadership and operations floor into a single area. His efforts were key to minimizing mission downtime and resulted in 147 targets hit within the first week. Finally, Airman Eason dedicated over seventy hours for the squadron's six largest fund raisers to help raise more than 29,000 dollars for the unit's morale events. Airman Eason's efforts culminated in his selection as the 543d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group's Outstanding Cable & Antenna Systems Airman of the 2nd Quarter 2016. Staff Sergeant Steven X. Li distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Cable and Antenna Systems Journeyman, 355th Civil Engineer Squadron, 355th Mission Support Group, 355th Fighter Wing, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. During this period, Sergeant Li managed a two hundred seventy hour grounding and lightning protection program, certifying thirty-eight ammo facilities, twelve Navigational Aids, and eight hangers. His hard work and dedication protected fifty-seven million dollars in Air Force equipment and three hundred ninety million dollars in fleet assets. Additionally, he was tasked to support the 355th Operations Support Squadron to install a two million dollar instrument landing system, creating bi-directional runway capabilities and expanding operations by eight thousand, six hundred sorties and seventeen thousand, two hundred flying hours annually. Furthermore, as a significant facet of the 41st Electronic Combat Squadron distribution system upgrade, he installed one thousand, five hundred feet of cable, strengthening thirty-five mission critical facilities. Finally, his professional skills and perpetual efforts contributed to his flight winning Air Combat Command's 2014 Wright Best Operations Flight and 2014 Air Force's Curtain Award Best Civil Engineer Unit, Air Combat Command's best Civil Engineer Squadron, and the 2015 Commanders in Chiefs Installation Excellence Award.
