Civil Support Team Awards

Staff Sergeant Jeffrey B. Haines distinguished himself in the performance of outstanding service while assigned as Survey Team Member, 31st Civil Support Team, Delaware National Guard Joint Forces Headquarters, New Castle, Delaware. During this period, Sergeant Haines served as a project leader and reorganized and modernized the Survey Operations Trailer. He researched and arranged the installation of a new power cable and reel system, and adopted and implemented new inventory control and maintenance management measures. These efforts and upgrades increased the preparedness and efficiency of the Survey Team and had a direct and measurable impact on the Survey Team's success during the 2011 ExEval. Additionally, he completed over five hundred and sixty-two hours of training in his first nine months on the Civil Support Team, which set a new record for accomplishing Basic qualification. The exemplary performance of Sergeant Haines reflects great credit upon himself, the Delaware Air National Guard, and the United States Air Force.
